Job summary

Echo Global Logistics is seeking an entry-level Logistics Coordinator to join our Chicago-area team. You will support account executives, manage pickup/delivery scheduling, and help resolve AR/AP issues while delivering excellent customer service to our clients.

The role offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced logistics environment, with emphasis on collaboration, learning Echo’s technology, and contributing to overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year college or vocational degree preferred.
• 1+ years' experience in customer service or logistics is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Account Executives by prioritizing daily duties and ad hoc requests.
• Manage scheduling of pickup and delivery appointments for client shipments.
• Assist in resolving AR/AP issues with accounts and teams.
• Deliver world-class customer service to clients alongside Account Executives.
• Improve efficiency by batching processes and optimizing the book of business.
• Proactively communicate issues to the team and carriers.

Requirements
