Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Logistics Specialist to ensure shipments move reliably and on-site operations stay intact. You will oversee daily inbound/outbound planning, manage bookings, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries across lanes and carriers.

You will coordinate with warehouses and internal teams, track shipments, provide ETAs, and escalate delays. The role requires strong Excel/ERP (Oracle/OTM) skills, problem-solving, and the ability to train Logistics Coordinators in best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in transportation logistics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of freight modes (road, rail, air, ocean) and carrier operations.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; ERP/TMS experience required (Oracle/OTM preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to manage escalations.
• Organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee control board on-site with logistics coordinator to plan daily Inbound and Outbound shipments
• Manage shipment bookings and execution for assigned lanes or carriers
• Ensure carrier compliance with service requirements and on-time pick-ups/deliveries
• Communicate with warehouses and internal teams to coordinate special requests and exceptions
• Track in-transit shipments, provide ETAs, and escalate delays to carriers and internal stakeholders
• Support carrier performance reporting and issue resolution.
• Train and coach Logistics Coordinators in best practices
