Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Supply Clerk to support Supply Technicians and execute unit, direct support, and installation supply operations. You will process routine supply, warehouse, inventory, documentation, and property accountability tasks under supervision, aligning with Army standards and contract requirements.

The role involves receiving, inspecting, inventorying, and turning in supplies, using logistics systems, maintaining records, and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of supply, warehouse, inventory procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to follow established procedures and directions from supervisors.
• Accurate documentation and records maintenance.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment when trained.
• Wear and maintain required PPE.
• Valid state driver’s license and government/operator licenses as required.
• Ability to obtain CAC within 30 days.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background/drug screening.
• Physical ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receipt, inspection, inventory, storage, issue, delivery, and turn-in of supplies and equipment.
• Operate logistics information systems under supervision.
• Prepare and maintain routine supply documentation and records.
• Maintain accurate automated supply records and support audits and government requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper receipt and accountability of items.
• Research discrepancies and assist with property accountability issues.
• Perform physical inventories and location surveys as directed.
• Data entry and document preparation for supply records.
• Maintain safe, clean storage areas and workspaces.
