Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain Services, Inc. is hiring a Freight Clerk for our Oswego, IL distribution center. You will provide administrative support to customers and operations while maintaining clerical duties on the warehouse floor.

This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with up to a 5% company match, and a starting pay rate of $20.00 per hour with a monthly bonus opportunity of up to $1.05 per hour.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with ability to demonstrate skill in business analysis.
• Ability to effectively communicate, interact and convey business decisions within the organization.
• Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting, system analysis, equipment and warehouse functionality.
• Proven success in maintaining quality, service and client relationships in a high-paced setting.
• Strong computer skills with proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process paperwork for all live and drop appointments prior to arrivals.
• Sign Bills based on quantity received.
• Generate paperwork for add on appointments.
• Account for shortage or damages of product on the BOLs.
• Ensure all Bills are stamped for shipments received and refused.
• Generate paper work for Drop Trailers.
• Ocean and International billing and document tracking.
• Track and report Trailer Dispatches timely.
• Prepare all receiving packets.
• Forward OS&D in a timely manner.
• Support Administrative Staff as required.
