Job summary

Aerotech, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Clerk to move materials between facilities and vendors, perform inspections, and assist with light assembly. The role involves coordinating transfers, packing, and preparing kits while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, and the ability to operate a computer. Forklift experience is a plus and CDL is not required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Unexpired driver’s license required. Commercial driver’s license a plus.
• Must be able to safely and comfortably drive a non-CDL box truck.
• Must be able to operate a computer.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Qualified candidates must have experience utilizing tools.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, parts, and finished goods between multiple manufacturing locations.
• Move parts and finished goods to and from local vendors.
• Coordinate with senders and receivers for efficient transfer.
• Perform visual inspection of parts.
• Perform limited measurements to verify function, size, or shape of parts or components.
• Perform light assembly tasks such as small assemblies, threaded insert installation, packaging and labeling.
• Prepare kits and groups of parts or components.
• Package materials, parts, and finished goods for transportation.
• Clean parts for use in cleanrooms and high vacuum environments.
• Work with a variety of communication mediums including cell phones, email, instant messaging, phones, and others as required.

Position Summary:
