Job summary

Aerotech is seeking an Electronic Technician with skills in troubleshooting and repairing electronic components. In this role, you will support engineers, conduct tests, and interpret schematics while working in a clean and climate-controlled environment.

What will your day look like? At Aerotech, you will:

• Study drawings, manuals, or specifications to troubleshoot electronic components
• Assist engineers with prototype electronic components
• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to conduct functional tests to evaluate electronic equipment
• Read and interpret schematic, assembly, and wiring diagrams
• Adjust and calibrate electronic equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level

What will separate you from the rest?

• Ability to use digital multimeters, current probes, and oscilloscopes
• Ability to identify basic electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes while reading a schematic
• Ability to solder surface mount and through hole components

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent; or a High School Diploma or GED with three to five years related experience and / or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
