Job summary

Aerotech, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Clerk to move materials between local manufacturing locations and vendors, perform inspections, and assist with light assembly. This role supports production efficiency and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Unexpired driver’s license required. CDL a plus.
• Able to safely and comfortably drive a non-CDL box truck.
• Must be able to operate a computer.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Experience utilizing tools.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, parts, and finished goods between multiple manufacturing locations.
• Move parts and finished goods to and from local vendors.
• Coordinate with senders and receivers for efficient transfer.
• Perform visual inspection of parts.
• Perform limited measurements to verify function, size, or shape of parts or components.
• Perform light assembly tasks such as small assemblies, threaded insert installation, packaging and labeling, etc.

Position Summary:

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for moving raw materials, parts, and finished goods between local manufacturing facilities and vendors, including inspections and light assembly.

Essential Functions:

• Move raw materials, parts, and finished goods between multiple manufacturing locations


• Move parts and finished goods to and from local vendors


• Coordinate with senders and receivers for efficient transfer


• Perform visual inspection of parts


• Perform limited measurements to verify function, size, or shape of parts or components


• Perform light assembly tasks such as small assemblies, threaded insert installation, packaging and labeling, etc.


• Prepare kits and groups of parts or components


• Package materials, parts, and finished goods for transportation


• Clean parts for use in cleanrooms and high vacuum environments


• Work with a variety of communication mediums including cell phones (call and text), email, instant messaging, phones, and others as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED


• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training


• Unexpired driver’s license required. Commercial driver’s license a plus


• Must be able to safely and comfortably drive a non-CDL box truck


• Must be able to operate a computer


• Must have mechanical aptitude


• Qualified candidates must have experience utilizing tools


• Forklift experience a plus


• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
