Job summary

Danone North America, LLC in Dallas, TX is hiring a Logistics Clerk to support loading, documentation, and carrier coordination. You will verify driver documents, manage transfers, and monitor shipments to ensure timely deliveries.

You will work with SAP, Excel, and MS Office while coordinating with floor operators and drivers. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Excel proficiency with pivot tables for data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across levels of the organization.
• Proven decision-making ability.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working with SAP.
• Experience with Lean Logistics is beneficial.
• Planning, supply chain and distribution experience required.

Responsibilities

• Check drivers in and verify necessary documents.
• Distribute loads to floor/forklift operators.
• Monitor carrier delivery and pickup times.
• Print BOL and verify documents at checkout.
• Review orders/shipments from previous day for carrier pickup.
• Resolve appointment scheduling and delivery issues.
• Ensure paperwork is completed timely and accurately.
• Dispatch yard drivers for shuttle operations and dock doors.
• Create or run transfer orders and prepare outbound documents.
• Check in inbound drivers and verify documents.
• Perform SAP reconciliation of inbound and outbound shipments.

Logistics Clerk

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Logistics Clerk based in Dallas, Texas!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Job Responsibilities

• Check drivers in, verify necessary documents.
• Distribute loads to the floor/forklift operators.
• Monitor carrier delivery and pick up times.
• Print BOL, check drivers out verify documents.
• Review orders/shipments from previous day to validate carrier pick up.
• Respond to and resolve appointment scheduling and delivery issues.
• Ensure paperwork completed timely and accurately.
• Assign, monitor and dispatch yard driver for shuttling trailers and dock doors for trailers.
• Create transfer orders and or run all transfer orders and prepare documents for outbound loads.
• Check in inbound drivers, verify documents.
• SAP reconciliation of inbound and outbound shipments.
