Intelliswift - An LTTS Company in Coppell, TX seeks a Claims & Settlements Specialist to investigate OS&D claims, audit POD/BOL, and resolve carrier disputes. You will collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Billing/Settlement, Customer Service, and Transportation to reconcile discrepancies and recoveries.

The role demands strong negotiation, high attention to detail, and the ability to interpret contracts and insurance guidelines, with ERP system and advanced Excel experience.

Qualifications

• Experience using logistics ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data reconciliation).
• Ability to interpret contracts and insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Investigate OS&D claims, shipment refusals, and carrier disputes.
• Audit POD, BOL, shipping docs, and inspection photos for claim legitimacy.
• Research deductions and overpayments to determine credit or chargebacks.
• File and track freight claims with carriers, freight forwarders, and underwriters.
• Negotiate settlements and recoveries per carrier liability rules and insurance coverage.
• Maintain and update claims aging reports to minimize outstanding balances.
• Cross-functional coordination with Warehouse Operations, Billing/Settlement, Customer Service, and Transportation teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Accounting/Finance to reconcile AR/AP impacts from deductions and settlements.
• Track claim trends and metrics to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
