Job summary

TCLAD is seeking an Experienced Logistic Cell Operator for a Monday–Friday day shift (40 hours/week) in Prescott, WI. The role includes counting and marking packages, receiving shipments, ensuring proper paperwork, and entering transactions into ERP systems to prepare goods for shipping.

Responsibilities extend to performing quality checks, maintaining 5S standards, resolving discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvements across shifts.

• A minimum of 3–6 months sustained employment in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all processes per job routers, specifications, ECOs, and standard work procedures safely.
• Complete required quality checks and inspections.
• Record all material transactions and labor reporting accurately.
• Use inventory tracking tools and label products to process specifications.
• Report discrepancies and fill NCR forms for non-conforming materials.
• Maintain 5S standards and provide a proper pass-down to the next shift.
• Support teamwork and process improvements across shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experienced Logistic Cell Operator Needed for the Following Shift:

• Monday - Friday Day Shift (40 Hours/Week)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Logistics Cell Operator will routinely perform the following functions: Count and mark packages according to work instructions and customer requirements, receive shipments and ensure items are not damaged, proper paperwork is provided and transactions are entered into ERP System. Prepare finished goods for shipping, ensure invoices and shipping instructions are accurate, and compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that all processes are followed according to job routers, process specifications, engineering change orders (ECO's), and standard work procedures in a safe operating manner. When in doubt, stops and asks cell coordinator, supervisor or manager for assistance.
• Ensures that all required quality checks and inspection are completed.
• Performs and records all material transactions and Labor Reporting accurately.
• Where appropriate, uses the inventory tracking tools and labels all products to process specifications. Transacts inventory at the appropriate stage of the process, where applicable.
• Brings inventory discrepancies forward to the cell coordinator, supervisor or manager and helps investigate and resolve.
• Reports all non-conforming products to the cell coordinator, supervisor or manager. Accurately fills out the NCR form for all non-conforming materials and places it in the assigned non-conforming materials area.
• Ensures work area is clean and organized to 5S standards and that a professional pass down is given to the oncoming shift operator. Oncoming operator gives final approval that everything is satisfactory before employee leaves.
• Helps to build and foster teamwork across all shifts by treating everyone with respect and dignity. Maintains a professional, positive attitude while at work.
• Is active in providing ideas and supporting process improvements that enable the cell to grow upon its annual goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Performs most assignments independently.
• As employee's knowledge increases over time, little to no supervision will be required to perform daily activities.
• Works in a personable and professional manner and communicates in a professional and tactful manner to build teamwork across the shifts.
• Takes initiative and moves to the work before being told.
• Willing to learn new tasks or job responsibilities.
• Is flexible to meet business needs across all cells.
• More advanced operators should be able to independently solve complex problems.

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. A minimum of 3-6 months sustained employment in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Can read part prints and use or become qualified to use various specialized tools (Forklift and Powered Industrial Trucks, Barcode Scanner, Foil Thickness Gauge, Scale, Vacuum Packaging and Shrink Wrap Machine).
