Job summary

Trilyon is hiring a Senior Logistics Buyer / Sr. Logistics Technician in Austin, TX for a fast-paced semiconductor hardware environment. You’ll manage procurement of electronic hardware and components and coordinate with Engineering, PM, Finance and Corporate Procurement.

Responsibilities include weekly supply-demand analysis, PO execution, order tracking, and providing status updates to management while escalating risks. A strong MRP and Excel background is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, buying, planning, logistics or supply-chain experience.
• Experience with electronic components or hardware materials.
• Strong experience with MRP systems and purchase-order execution.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply vs. demand weekly and identify gaps, risks and purchasing actions.
• Drive purchase requisitions and purchase-order execution.
• Procure electronic hardware and components (e.g., DIMMs, SSDs, development cards, cables, sockets, fans, heatsinks).
• Track supplier orders, delivery dates and procurement timelines.
• Provide clear order-status and delivery updates to management.
• Escalate supply risks and issues proactively.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Finance and Corporate Procurement.
• Help maintain procurement timing and budget alignment across hardware programs.

Location: Austin, TX | Hybrid (1 day onsite-4days remote)

Pay Rate: $30–$35/hour on W2

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Buyer / Sr. Logistics Technician to support a fast-paced semiconductor hardware environment.

If you have a strong background in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, MRP, purchase orders and electronic hardware/components, this could be a great opportunity to explore.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze supply vs. demand on a weekly basis and identify gaps, risks and purchasing actions
• Drive purchase requisitions and purchase-order execution
• Procure electronic hardware and components, including DIMMs, SSDs, development cards, cables, sockets, fans, heatsinks and sheet metal
• Track supplier orders, delivery dates and procurement timelines
• Provide clear order-status and delivery updates to management
• Escalate supply risks and issues proactively
• Partner closely with Engineering, Program Management, Finance and Corporate Procurement
• Help maintain procurement timing and budget alignment across hardware programs

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of procurement, buying, planning, logistics or supply-chain experience
• Experience with electronic components or hardware-related materials
• Strong experience with MRP systems and purchase-order execution
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Electronics contract-manufacturing experience is highly preferred
• Strong communication, organization and follow-through
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
