Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a Logistics Associate at our Nassau location to stock, distribute and manage medical supplies and oxygen tanks. You will monitor par levels, verify orders, and keep storage areas clean and organized while supporting department operations.

The role requires at least one year of stocking experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort working with heavy carts. Basic computer skills and reliability are essential.

Apply now to join our team as a Logistics Associate at our Nassau location and kick start your career!Role Overview:Deliver, distribute and store medical supplies and oxygen tanks in appropriate location per department guidelines with established time frames.Identifies and maintains par levels daily of medical supplies in exam/infusion rooms as well as storage closets and supply carts.Implement any changes, additions or deletions of supplies approved by management.Checks all orders received for accuracy against requisition form and packing slips while distributing and storing medical supplies.Monitors stock usage and identifies fast and/or slow-moving items so ordering can be adjusted to achieve maximum efficiency in exam rooms as well as storage rooms.Follow proper procedure for returning incorrect or damaged supplies and re-order unfilled items from appropriate vendor.Stock appropriate linen in assigned areas per departmental guidelines.Responsible for storing supplies neatly for easy access and cleanliness of storage bins, drawers and cabinets in accordance with sterility and environment of care guidelines.Check dated supplies on a consistent basis to ensure products are not expired.Assures that stock is rotated and discard outdated and/or expired stock appropriately.Takes inventory and orders supplies to maintain shelf levels in all assigned supply areas.Orders supplies through Helios and/or Coupa as per departmental guidelines.Anticipates and avoids problems by ordering depleted items as soon as possible.
