Job summary

Teknor Apex in Pawtucket, RI is seeking a Shipping Associate for 1st shift to stage shipments, process customer returns, and manage UPS orders. You will load trucks and ensure proper stretch wrapping, while keeping the shipping dock clean and safe.

Job Requirements:

• Stage truck shipments in the Shipping Area.
• Process customer returns.
• Process UPS orders through the UPS system.
• Load all Teknor or outside trucks for shipment of designated orders, ensuring that stretch wrapping is provided when needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work area on the shipping dock. Check forklift daily prior to operating.
• Experience with Teknor Apex computer systems preferred.

Skills:

• Able to read and comprehend English.
• Possess good math skills.
• Able to drive (or learn to drive) a forklift and to use an electric hand truck.
• Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
