Job summary

Omega Bio-tek, Inc. in Norcross, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Associate to manage distribution, storage, inventory, and inspection of materials.

You will pick, pack, and ship orders, handle incoming shipments, operate forklift, and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy. The role requires 1–2 years shipping/receiving experience, familiarity with WMS/ERP systems, and knowledge of DOT/IATA regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of DOT/IATA regulations for hazardous shipments.
• Experience with freight forwarders for organizing international shipments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and time management, with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and ship orders by following standard operating procedure.
• Receive incoming shipments from vendors and record shortages or damages.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials.
• Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and prepare BOLs.
• Scan shipments into the database and update records timely.
• Communicate shipping delays or shortages to stakeholders.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow SOP/ISO guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Accurately pick, pack and ship orders by following standard operating procedure
• Receive incoming shipments from vendors – rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storageareasand manufacturing areas
• Perform physical inventory of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods through cycle counts ona timelybasis
• Contact freight carriers to schedule pick-up of goods and prepare BOL for shipments
• Scan all shipped orders into the database and update informationin a timely manner
• Communicate any shipping delays or product shortages
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follows all company safety regulations
• Follow established company SOP and ISO Guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
