Logistics Assistant III

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant III to join our team. This role combines buyer responsibilities, administrative shipping oversight, logistics coordination, and general office support. It focuses on small medium package shipping, procurement activities, and coordination with outside processing vendors. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, independent, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

Procurement & Buyer

• Create purchase orders
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status
• Verify delivery dates and ensure timely follow-up
• Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor communication logs
• Handle administrative aspects of shipping such as import/export documentation
• Verify shipment contents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate shipments for customers and vendors
• Support packaging of products.

Inventory Management

• Perform cycle counting to support inventory accuracy
• Assist with tracking material movement.
• Arrange and track trade show shipments
• Manage payments and logistics related to trade show participation
• Support demo equipment tracking and shipment coordination
• Assist with packaging activities as needed
• Support miscellaneous operational tasks to maintain workflow efficiency
• Assist with routine administrative duties to support daily operations
• Help coordinate office-related activities that enable team productivity
• Support cross-functional tasks and "odds-and-ends" needs as they arise

Administrative Shipping & Export Compliance

• Handle administrative aspects of shipping such as import/export documentation
• Verify shipment contents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate shipments for customers and vendors
• Support packaging of products.

Trade Show & Demo Logistics

• Arrange and track trade show shipments
• Manage payments and logistics related to trade show participation

General Logistics Support

• Assist with packaging activities as needed
• Support miscellaneous operational tasks to maintain workflow efficiency

General Office Support

• Assist with routine administrative duties to support daily operations
• Help coordinate office-related activities that enable team productivity
• Support cross-functional tasks and "odds-and-ends" needs as they arise

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience in a shipping or inventory role.
• Ownership & Initiative: Extremely self-motivated, driven, and resourceful with a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical: Previous experience working with ERP Systems and Shipping Systems (Ex. Fedex, UPS, DHL)

For California, the base pay range for this role is $25-$30 per hour.
