TopHat Logistical Solutions Idaho Falls seeks an experienced Logistics Area Manager to supervise in-home delivery contractor teams across high-volume routes. You will route, dispatch, and oversee 5+ teams, drive weekly billing in NetSuite, and manage P&L budgeting, reporting, and performance metrics.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and 2–4 years in a related role. DOT knowledge is a plus, and strong communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with Netsuite and P&L management is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, oral and written communication skills.

The Area Location Manager helps to manage the success of our operation in multiple high-volume home delivery environments. Due to the unique challenges of the industry, it is essential that applicants possess the skills necessary for success in performance-based environments that focus on client service, urgency, and continuous improvement. The Area Location Manager reports directly to the Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily responsibilities of In-Home Delivery contract carrier teams.
• Routing daily routes within Dispatch Track for each delivery team.
• Dispatching 5+ in home delivery teams through multiple stops.
• Completing weekly billing + claims forms and submitting through NetSuite.
• P+L Budgeting responsibility.
• Daily and weekly collection of operational data and performance report assessments.
• Recruit and maintain a roster of high performing independent contract carrier delivery teams.
• Daily stand-up chats with teams before loading out.
• Daily supervision of load out to ensure product quality assurance is being conducted.
• Local ride behind routes to ensure satisfaction of customers by carrier teams.
• Ensuring daily truck inspections + safety measures are met.
• Build relationships and establish effective communication with customers, clients, and staff to ensure continued and expanding operating improvements.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Employment Type & Hours:

• Full-time position that will consist of 40 hours per week.
• Hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm, M-F
• Possible overtime during peak season

• Knowledge of DOT regulations are preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and other outside organizations.
