Job summary

B&G Manufacturing is seeking a Logistics & Production Coordinator for our Houston facility. This role connects shipping, production, customer service, and the Plant Manager to ensure orders are completed and shipped on time.

You will coordinate shipments, determine efficient methods, prepare paperwork, track work orders, and communicate progress. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work both in the office and in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process customer shipments accurately and on time.
• Determine the most efficient and cost-effective shipping method for each order.
• Prepare, process, and maintain shipping and production paperwork.
• Create, print, and track shop work orders through completion.
• Monitor work orders and communicate production progress, issues, and delays to the Houston Plant Manager.
• Enter and maintain information accurately in company systems.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping documents and other outgoing paperwork.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service and communication.
• Work closely with production and other team members to keep orders moving.
• Maintain organized and accurate records.
• Communicate effectively regarding priorities, problems, and changing customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

B&G Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics & Production Coordinator to join our Houston facility. This is an important role that connects shipping, production, customer service, and the Plant Manager to help ensure customer orders are completed and shipped accurately and on time.

• Ability to work effectively with both office and manufacturing personnel.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP or another ERP/MRP system.

The Work Environment

This is a 1st shift position working in an office and manufacturing/warehouse environment. The position involves computer and desk work as well as regular walking through the warehouse and manufacturing areas. Appropriate PPE is required in designated areas.
