Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to apply analytical methods and tools to understand, predict, and improve logistics operations.

The role includes data management, performance analysis, problem identification, and presenting recommendations to senior management. Responsibilities include coordinating multiple large-scale initiatives, developing scorecards, forecasting, and leading process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio).
• Advanced skills in Mini-Tab, SQL, Visual Basic; process mapping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities for large initiatives in Logistics.
• Develop and execute scorecards for project metrics and business cases.
• Forecast, develop and implement process improvements for assigned projects.
• Perform data mining, modeling, and cost/benefit analyses for requests.
• Manage vendor/business partner relationships.
