Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks, and routes to improve capacity and productivity while ensuring safe, reliable service for customers. The role requires strong analysis of routing data, proactive issue resolution, and clear communication with drivers and customers.

You will evaluate route efficiency, monitor daily activities, and implement improvements to meet service commitments while supporting operational goals.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Skillful with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to understand and execute time-sensitive tasks.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize productivity and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Analyze routing data and implement changes to improve route efficiency and accuracy.
• Respond to same-day or next-day service needs to meet customer expectations.
• Proactively manage driver safety and protection of company assets.
• Communicate with drivers to provide necessary information and resolve issues.
• Review loads per driver per day to maximize profitability.
• Identify opportunities to improve swing routes and route design.
