This position is contingent on contract award.

The Logistics Analyst III, Materiel Fielding Transportation Coordinator, will serve as a transportation coordinator for PEOS, PM SMD, Force Integration Division (FID). FID manages procurement and assembly of medical equipment sets (MES) and related equipment globally to operational forces, and develops transportation policies supporting the medical equipping mission worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute procurement and assembly of medical equipment sets.
2. Deploy medical assemblages and related equipment globally to operational forces.
3. Develop transportation concepts and policies.
4. Support the medical equipment mission worldwide.
5. Access and utilize authorized Army Automation Systems, including TEWLS, LOGICOL, GCSS, and others authorized by PEOS, PM SMD.
6. Understand Army activities, transportation systems, and DoD shipping/receiving documents to assist leadership in monitoring and asset visibility.
7. Track transportation and receipt of medical equipment needs in operational missions and contingencies.
8. Provide daily transportation reports using authorized Army Automation Systems.
9. Offer transportation guidance to headquarters, regional managers, and units in the U.S. and overseas.
10. Support development of transportation policies, provide technical expertise, and review procedures for efficiency and compliance.
11. Resolve transportation conflicts/discrepancies and validate shipments for proper markings.
12. Assist in planning and executing the Second Destination Transportation (SDT) program.
13. Analyze procedures and trends related to delays, cargo issues, and lost items to improve performance.
14. Travel nationally and internationally as required.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

• Five (5) years of medical logistics experience.
• Certification in LOG 0140 Packaging of Hazardous Material.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Outlook, MS Project, and MS Access.
• Experience with TEWLS, LOGICOL, AESIP, GCSS-A, LMI-DST, and M3PT is preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Service Corps Officer, Senior Medical NCO E-7+, or property book manager is desirable.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, logistics, and supply chain principles.
• Excellent communication and data entry skills.

Education:

• Associate's degree in Healthcare Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Physical Requirements:

• Work in office and outdoor environments with exposure to weather conditions.
• Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to navigate stairs safely.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
• US Passport valid for at least 18 months.

Pay range varies based on factors including experience and location. Final salary will be determined accordingly.
