Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award. The Logistics Analyst III, Materiel Fielding Transportation Coordinator, will serve as a transportation coordinator for PEOS, PM SMD, Force Integration Division (FID). FID manages procurement and assembly of medical equipment sets globally to support operational forces, and develops transportation policies and plans supporting the medical mission worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute procurement and assembly of medical equipment sets.
  2. Coordinate the global delivery of medical assemblages and related equipment.
  3. Develop and implement transportation concepts and policies.
  4. Support worldwide medical equipment missions.
  5. Utilize authorized Army Automation Systems such as TEWLS, LOGICOL, GCSS, and others.
  6. Monitor and track shipments using approved DoD documents and systems.
  7. Provide daily transportation reports on medical equipment and goods issued.
  8. Offer transportation guidance to headquarters and regional managers domestically and abroad.
  9. Develop and review transportation policies and procedures for efficiency.
  10. Resolve transportation conflicts and validate shipments.
  11. Plan and execute the Second Destination Transportation (SDT) program.
  12. Analyze trends related to delays, cargo issues, and lost items to improve performance.
  13. Travel nationally and internationally as required.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical logistics experience.
  • Complete LOG 0140 Packaging of Hazardous Material certification.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Project, and Access.
  • Experience with TEWLS, LOGICOL, AESIP, GCSS-A, LMI-DST, and M3PT preferred.
  • Experience as a Medical Service Corps Officer or Senior Medical NCO E-7+ with property management experience is desirable.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
Education:
  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work environment includes office and outdoor exposure.
  • Sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.
  • Ability to navigate stairs safely.
Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Valid U.S. Passport with at least 18 months remaining.
