Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award.

Soldier Medical Devices (SMD), Force Integration Division (FID), provides medical materiel support to all Army components, facilitating healthcare and medical readiness through procurement, assembly, distribution, disassembly, management of excess medical materiel, and technical assistance for sustainment operations including training on Army automated logistics systems.

The Logistics Analyst III, Materiel Fielding, will ensure the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of material fielding operations, analyzing logistics data, optimizing supply chain processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to support troop readiness and operational missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support PEOS, PM SMD Fielding Missions.
  • Plan data and reports for specific tasks.
  • Execute all fielding missions in compliance with regulatory guidance.
  • Responsible for post-fielding mission requirements.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly status reports on work planned, completed, and analysis.
  • Utilize Army Automation Systems for data upload and entry during fielding missions.
  • Prepare Pre-Fielding Analysis Reports identifying requirements and shortages.
  • Draft RFIs, MONs, and MFAs.
  • Represent the team in meetings, briefings, and site surveys.
  • Assist with inventory, staging, and hand-off of materiel.
  • Manage on-site materiel transfer and documentation.
  • Inspect materiel for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Handle transportation damages and defective materiel.
  • Provide documentation to responsible officers.
  • Prepare and deliver After Action Reports.
  • Travel as required nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • Five (5) years of medical logistics experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Outlook, MS Project, and MS Access.
  • Experience with TEWLS, LOGICOL, AESIP, GCSS-A, LMI-DST, and M3PT is preferred.
  • Experience as a Medical Service Corps Officer, Senior Medical NCO, or in property management.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent data entry skills.

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work environment includes office and outdoor settings with environmental exposure.
  • Sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. required.
  • Ability to navigate stairs safely.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
  • US citizenship.
  • Valid US Passport with at least 18 months before expiration.
