Job summary

LB Foster in Pittsburgh is seeking a Logistics Analyst to evaluate transportation and distribution methods to improve efficiency and meet delivery schedules. You will provide timely guidance to internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities include coordinating bid packages, supporting spot pricing, managing outbound shipments, and assisting with export documentation. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred but not required, or 3+ years equivalent work experience.
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in transportation or logistics
• Warehouse management and shipping experience a plus
• Prior experience working for or with a 3PL provider will be helpful

• Back up support in preparing export documentation such as export declaration of dock orders, commercial invoices, Free Trade Agreement certificates
• Assist accounts payable in the processing of freight invoices by providing proper ERP reference numbers
• Manage LTL freight claims using EZ Claim software

Provides internal customers and outside vendors with timely responses and direction on problem resolution.
