Job summary

Maverick Transportation, LLC in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a Logistics Associate to optimize detention processes, monitor real-time loading/unloading for a group of customers, and ensure drivers are compensated accurately for detention time.

The role focuses on data auditing, reporting, and coordination with drivers, customers, and Sales to resolve issues. A related degree or experience is preferred; SQL and Excel skills are encouraged to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Prefer a four year college degree with emphasis in a related field and 1-2 years of experience or training.
• Develop and expand SQL and Excel abilities to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a select group of customers in real time to ensure drivers are loaded/unloaded on time.
• Qualify drivers for detention pay eligibility based on meeting requirements and maintain audit processes.
• Manage detention-related requirements with customers to meet expectations and respond to inquiries.
• Provide ad hoc reports using existing tools or custom queries and support department action plans.
• Utilize downtime to develop key skills (SQL/Excel) and provide backup support to team functions.
