Job summary

ABF Freight is seeking team members for a fast-paced service center in Knoxville. This hourly role supports clerical, administrative and customer service tasks while coordinating with ABF Freight management to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight and high customer satisfaction.

The position requires good data entry skills and experience in a transportation environment, with evening and as-needed shifts. Generally weekly pay applies for this hourly role.

Qualifications

• Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
• Billing, collections, tracing, ten-key and OS&D experience is preferred.
• Good typing/data entry and clerical skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clerical, administrative and customer service tasks in daily service center operations.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and ABF Freight management to ensure timely pickup and delivery and customer satisfaction.
