Reporting to branch leadership, you will gain hands-on experience with freight file settlement, reconciliations, invoicing accuracy, and vendor onboarding while building a standout resume in corporate finance and logistics.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student or recent graduate pursuing accounting/finance-related degree.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify documents.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, accounting software, and Google Workspace.
• Clear written and verbal communication with carriers, shippers, and internal teams.
• No prior freight accounting experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Review Bills of Lading, verify quantities, and resolve discrepancies with brokers.
• Process carrier and third-party invoices; issue payments and balance freight files.
• Assist with carrier onboarding; gather COIs and complete references.
• Input invoicing details; run weekly receivables reports and address AR inquiries.
• Resolve A/P issues with carriers and brokers; track PODs.
• Maintain organized filing and update customer platforms.
