Job summary

Competitive Range Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Lead to coordinate outbound shipping operations in a DoD environment. You will manage weekly schedules, oversee staff, and ensure accurate shipping documents and timely deliveries.

You will work under the Warehouse Manager, coordinating with multiple teams to maintain quality and compliance, while preparing reports and mentoring staff. An active Secret clearance is required to qualify for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree and at least 5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience
• Or high school diploma/GED and at least 7 years of logistics analysis experience
• Experience in the integrated logistics support field, including warehouse management, logistics program planning and concept development, provisioning, supply support and inventory control
• Active Secret US Government Clearance required (US citizenship required)

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain weekly shipping schedule
• Prioritize daily shipping schedule, assign and oversee work order execution
• Coordinate material handlers, and monitor supply orders
• Prepare shipping documents including hazardous materials and international shipments
• Ensure smooth shipping operations and maintain high product quality
• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly status and activity reports
• Perform quality control for inbound and outbound shipments
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (Raymond Lift certification within 30 days)
• Assist in loading trucks and preparing shipments for pickup/delivery
• Prepare BOL and inspect order routing, quantities, and destination
• Schedule trucks for freight orders and ensure on-time pickup and delivery
• Train and assist employees on procedures and problem solve issues

Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Warehouse Shipping Lead to provide warehouse management support as a part of the Warehouse management and support teams. The candidate must reference their ability and experience in working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.

Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager the candidate's responsibilities revolve around coordinating and overseeing outbound shipping Team operations and must be a fast starter with the ability to work independently in a team environment performing the following duties and responsibilities:

• Create and maintain weekly shipping schedule
• Prioritize daily shipping schedule, assign and oversee work order execution
• Coordinate material handlers, and monitor supply orders
• Prepare shipping documents, including those for hazardous materials and international shipments
• Ensure smooth shipping operations and maintaining high product quality
• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly status and weekly activity reports
• Performing quality control functions for inbound and outbound shipments
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, (Raymond Lift certification required within first 30-days
• Assist in loading trucks, filling orders, and preparing shipments for pick up and delivery
• Prepare BOL, inspect order for correct routing, quantities, and destination
• Schedule trucks for freight orders and ensure on time pickup and delivery
• Train and assist employees on proper procedures and problem solve issues that arise

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree, and at least 5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience
• Or High school diploma/GED, and at least 7 years of logistics analysis experience
• Experience in the integrated logistics support field, including any of the following areas of warehouse management, logistics program planning and concept development; provisioning, supply support, and inventory control; logistics automated information systems and analysis tools; maintenance concepts and requirements analyses
• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military Experience in a Supply Career Management Field
• Experience in supply, stockroom, warehouse, and inventory operation
• Demonstrated experienced or knowledge related to Network Infrastructure equipment
• Experience with packaging and handling of items prepared for storage and shipping
