Job summary

RXO is seeking an Account Executive in Brokerage to drive new business, manage relationships with shippers and carriers, and meet personal sales targets. You will search for leads, negotiate rates, and close profitable loads while delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates bring a background in sales and transportation or 3PL, plus the ability to develop industry knowledge, use internal systems to track performance, and collaborate with teammates to secure optimal terms and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2 years of professional sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in transportation or 3PL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop leads through cold calling and trusted sources to meet sales goals.
• Negotiate with customers to secure profitable rates and ensure client satisfaction.
• Build a strong understanding of the transportation industry including rates, carriers, and equipment types.
• Collaborate with team members to finalize sale terms and optimize carrier selection.
• Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of sales activities and load volumes.
