Job summary

Allied Universal, Goodyear, AZ, is seeking a Security Officer - Access Intake to protect people and property at a busy logistics and distribution site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity.

This full-time, on-site role offers daytime shifts and a pay rate of $19.17 per hour, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide security leader.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in, loading, and parking areas.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, trailers, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
