Valkyrie Enterprises seeks a Logistician II to support the CIWS program from Arlington, VA. You will serve as a low-level logistics and product support expert, focusing on readiness, sustainment, and spares while coordinating with government and contractors across the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a logistician supporting CIWS program requirements and lifecycle product support activities
• Provide leadership in product support management, logistics planning, sustainment, and system readiness
• Support development and execution of integrated logistics and product support strategies throughout the system lifecycle
• Analyze logistics, maintenance, supply and readiness data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve operational availability
• Coordinate with government field activities and hardware contractors
• Manage and track status of Action Items
• Provide SIPR Message Traffic Support
• Prepare briefings and participate in program meetings
• Provide feedback to the fleet through Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins; generate weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports
• Analyze spares, parts availability, obsolete components, and OEM capacity to meet fleet demands
• Assess product support requirements and recommend improvements to system availability, reliability, maintainability, and readiness
• Support program reviews, working groups, technical meetings, and other customer activities

Job description

• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Logistician II to support the Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) program.
• The Logistician will serve as a Low-level logistics and product support resource, providing expertise in system readiness, sustainment, and readiness-based spares.
• This role is in Arlington, VA.

Job Description:

• Serve as a logistician supporting CIWS program requirements and lifecycle product support activities.
• Provide leadership in product support management, logistics planning, sustainment, and system readiness.
• Support the development, coordination, and execution of integrated logistics and product support strategies throughout the system lifecycle.
• Analyze logistics, maintenance, supply, and readiness data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve operational availability.
• provide planning and coordination support, including liaison with government field activities and hardware contractors.
• Manage, track, maintain, and verifying the status of Action Items.
• Provide SIPR Message Traffic Support.
• Prepare briefings and participate in various program meetings.
• Provide technical feedback to the fleet through various communications such as Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins. Generate weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports.
• Analyzing spares, parts availability, obsolete components, and OEM manufacturing capacity to fulfill Fleet demands.
• Assess product support requirements and recommend solutions to improve system availability, reliability, maintainability, and readiness.
• Support program reviews, working groups, technical meetings, and other customer activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 4 years of relevant logistics, product support, acquisition, sustainment, or related experience.
• Must have previous experience supporting a Navy weapon system program office.
• Must have experience with logistics and lifecycle product support activities for complex defense systems.
• Must have knowledge of readiness-based sparing concepts and methodologies.
• Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently and provide senior-level recommendations to program leadership.
• Must have valid US Driver's License.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
• Previous experience supporting CIWS or demonstrated working knowledge of the CIWS weapon system, preferred.
• Experience with Navy acquisition, sustainment, maintenance, supply support, or readiness programs, preferred.

Security Requirements:

• Must have an Active Secret Security clearance and the ability tomaintain it.

Travel Requirements:

• Minimal travel-less than 10%
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
• Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
