The role involves hands-on logistics tasks, requisitioning, tracking and delivering parts, inventory reporting, and strict control of shop tools and materials in a secure environment. The candidate must possess a DoD security clearance, thorough knowledge of NTCSS, OMMS-NG, and QDR, and be adept at documentation and configuration management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent logistics experience.
• 5+ years of general logistics; 5 consecutive years in NAVY supply logistics field.
• Experience with NTCCS, OMMS-NG, and QDR.
• Ability to document and control tool/material inventory.
• Expertise in configuration control management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and email services.

Logistics Analyst

Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Logistics Analyst who will be a key support to the US Navy using navy Supply logistics systems.

Job Description:

• Provide Logistician Support in a U.S. Navy environment utilizing the Navy Supply Logistics systems:
  • Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS)
  • R-Supply and Organizational Maintenance Managements System-Next Generation (OMMS-NG)
  • Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR).
• Requisition, track, procure and deliver required parts and materials through local vendors.
• Maintain and provide inventory reports.
• Issue, control and receive tools and parts. Order required parts utilizing US Navy supply processes.
• Document and control shop tool inventory utilizing configuration management of assigned Boats and CESE as as to effectively manage bi-weekly part inventories.

Qualifications:

• Must have bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience or high school diploma and at least 6 years of experience in general logistics and at least 5 consecutive years of experience in the NAVY Supply Logistics Field.
• Must have experience/knowledge of Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), R-Supply and Organizational Maintenance Managements System-Next Generation (OMMS-NG) and Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR).
• Must have ability to effectively document and control tool and material inventory.
• Must have expertise in Configuration control management.
• Must have proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and email services.

Security Requirements:

• Must have an Active DoD Secret security clearance or above.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional Travel-Less than 10% travel

Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
