Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistician – Flight Service Center at Creech Air Force Base, NV. This position supports Creech AFB supply Flight Service Center functions and requires a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include managing the DIFM return process, PQDRs, TCTO kits, and related reporting, with experience in Air Force supply systems and FSC management. Full-time, on-site with a standard schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant training.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 6–9 years' work experience in the Air Force supply systems with an emphasis on Flight Service Center Management.
• Must be familiar with AFI 23-101 procedures.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
• Applicants must possess and maintain a valid Nevada state driver’s license.

• Responsible for working and reporting monthly Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) to include DIFMs, MRSP Fill Rate.

• Must have an established record of effectively working with Base Supply personnel to resolve problems using working knowledge of supporting data systems, processes, and procedures.

• Must provide DIFM training quarterly. Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of academic/technical/military training.

• Associate’s degree preferred.

• Position requires 6 to 9 years' work experience in the Air Force supply systems with an emphasis on Flight Service Center Management.

• Must be familiar with procedural requirements in AFI 23-101.

• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and understand English.

• Must possess and maintain a Secret level security clearance.

• Applicants must possess and maintain a valid Nevada state driver’s license.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

• Must be able to operate up to a 6k capacity forklift and utilize material handling equipment.

• Must have a general knowledge of the Air Force warehouse supply functions.

• Must be able to repetitively hold/balance, reach, flex position, twist, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat/crouch, climb, and sit (all for short or long periods of time).

• Must have a full range of mobility and endurance and be able to lift objects that weigh a minimum of 45 pounds.

• Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

• Reports to Supply Supervisor – Aircraft Parts Store (APS), Mobility Readiness Spare Part Kit (MRSPK), Flight Service Center (FSC) and Individual Protective Equipment (IPE).

• Full-Time (Five days/ week schedule with minimal overtime projected).

• Shifts will be staggered to cover 0800 to 0100 with standby support from 0100 to 0600.
