Job summary

Centurum is seeking a Logistician (Cal Lab) in San Diego, CA, to support calibration operations and depot processes. You will assist Cal Lab with production control, inventory management, and configuration management activities, ensuring accurate records and smooth material flow.

The role requires 5 years of relevant experience (C4ISR or similar), HS diploma, and the ability to travel locally. A Secret DoD security clearance is required to access classified assets and work with government

Qualifications

• Procurement and disposal of hazardous material.
• 2M assembly/disassembly of electronic components.
• Local travel required.
• Education: HS Diploma.

• Assist Depot with Configuration Management.
• Coordinate transportation of incoming classified/unclassified assets and delivering the assets to designated calibration customer locations.
• Receipt and issue all incoming and outbound equipment.
• Assist with the planning of calibration standards, maintenance, and calibration.
• In a customer service role, communicate with customers regarding their requirements/orders in respect to all facets of calibration.

Required Skills/Years Of Experience

• 5 Years Recent C4ISR Or Other Relevant Experience.
• Record keeping and filing experience.
• Procuring and disposal of hazardous material.
• 2M assembly and disassembly of electronic components.
• Local travel required.
• Education: HS Diploma
• Work Location: San Diego, CA This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Calibration Logistics and Support System software (CLASS).
• Knowledge and use of multiple databases.
• Knowledge of calibration processes.
• Knowledge of Metbench Calibration Management System (MCMS).
• Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17025.

Remarks

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of Government and Contractor technical and management personnel.

Compensation: $28 - $38 an hour.

Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
