Job summary

Ammega Group is seeking a Shipper & Receiver in Franklin Park, IL to manage daily receipts and shipments. You will print and verify receipts, prepare shipping labels, assemble boxes, apply postage, and track inventory while coordinating with carriers.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, basic math, and PIT training. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 1–3 years in retail or e-commerce and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in retail or e-commerce.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Trained/certified on powered industrial truck (P.I.T.).
• Understand stock locator system.
• Must be able to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship daily orders and verify receipts against records.
• Print daily sales receipts and inventory updates in the system.
• Prepare and print shipping labels for outgoing packages.
• Assemble, pack, and box items for shipment with proper postage.
• Track inventory and report shortages to sales team.
• Coordinate with carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.

The Shipper & Receiver’s primary responsibility is to manage the daily receipts and shipments for the facility. It includes packaging and labeling of all outgoing material and as well as a transfer of inventory for all incoming products. This role is required to be familiar with forklift operation and proper lifting techniques associated with moving and handling of material.A day in the life of a Shipper & Receiver can look likeObserve and follow safety rules as prescribed by the safety policy. Completes an expected amount of work based on time studies in accordance with schedule.
