Responsibilities

• Production: work with shavers to meet shift goals and keep shavers operational.
• Operate log yard equipment; fill shaver boxes; monitor and move logs safely.
• Cut logs to spec and maintain an orderly yard for inventory counts.
• Evaluate logs before unloading from freight shipments.
• Monitor quality of produced shavings and ensure safety precautions.
• Safely operate loader, knuckle boom, and skid steer; coordinate with drivers.
• Move wood through the log yard and maintain safe conditions in all weather.
