Job summary

The Beasley Group is seeking a Log Crane Operator for the chip mill department to safely move, sort, and feed lumber into the processing system. This role requires attention to safety and experience with heavy equipment in an industrial setting.

You will perform pre-operation inspections, monitor performance, and coordinate with ground personnel to maintain steady production. Flexibility for shifts and overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating cranes, loaders, or similar heavy equipment.
• Experience in a sawmill or chip mill environment is strongly preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate equipment in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazard awareness.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as needed.

This role is critical to maintaining a steady flow of raw materials and ensuring optimal production performance. The ideal candidate is safety-driven, attentive, and experienced in operating heavy equipment in an industrial environment.
