Hotel Equities is seeking a Lodgekeeper for Postcard Cabins Machimoodus in Moodus, CT. The position focuses on ensuring guests experience pristine textiles and a well-run laundry operation, with strong attention to detail and service orientation.

You will sort, wash, press, and fold clothing, track items, manage inventory, and assist guests with laundering-related services. Flexibility to work weekends and nights is essential, along with good communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Clean, press, and fold textiles with attention to detail.
• Track items to owners and manage laundry inventory.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Basic arithmetic for inventory/tasks.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold clothing and textiles.
• Remove stains using appropriate procedures.
• Track ownership of items and maintain records.
• Keep inventory of detergents and sewing kits.
• Prepare for next shift: pack linen bags, restock kits, maintain equipment.
• Track maintenance on laundering equipment.
• Ensure facility remains clean at all times.
• Assist guests with laundering-related services and respond to queries.
