AAS Healthcare Company seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment at a Level I trauma center in Robbinsdale, MN. The role centers on inpatient consultations, urgent and emergent vascular procedures, and 24-hour pager call.

Responsibilities include rounding and coordination with the care team; expect some outpatient clinic coverage as demand evolves.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Vascular Surgery fellowship required.
• Active Minnesota medical license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide vascular surgery coverage at a Level I trauma center.
• Evaluate and manage inpatient vascular surgery consultations.
• Perform urgent and emergent vascular procedures and surgeries.
• Manage vascular injuries resulting from penetrating trauma.
• Perform ruptured aortic aneurysm repairs and other emergent vascular interventions as needed.
• Participate in 24-hour pager call and respond to urgent patient care needs.
• Complete inpatient rounding, documentation, and coordination with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Provide limited clinic coverage for surgical referrals and postoperative follow-up as needed.

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgery Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Robbinsdale, MN. This hospital-based role primarily provides Level I trauma coverage, including inpatient consultations, urgent and emergent vascular procedures, and 24-hour pager call. Some limited outpatient clinic coverage may be available as the need evolves.

Compensation: $3200 Per Day

Schedule & Practice Details

• 24-hour pager call coverage
• Inpatient rounding and consultations
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Preference for consecutive stretches of coverage when possible
• Anticipated callback frequency: 1–2 times per week
• Patient population: 100% adult and geriatric
• Patient volume: Approximately 1–2 consults per week and 1–2 urgent or emergent cases per week, with 3–5 total cases weekly
• More than 95% inpatient care
• EMR: Epic
• Multiple providers needed to support 24/7/365 coverage
