Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a board-certified/eligible vascular surgeon to join a Level 1 trauma center in Robbinsdale, MN for a locum tenens assignment. Responsibilities include emergent surgeries, inpatient rounding, and 24-hour pager coverage with a beeper call schedule, in a hospital with Epic EMR.

The case mix includes penetrating trauma and ruptured aneurysm repairs, with privileges and temporary credentials available.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in vascular surgery.
• Fellowship in vascular surgery required.
• MN medical license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour pager coverage for Level 1 trauma center.
• Perform inpatient rounding and consultations for vascular surgery patients.
• Conduct emergent surgeries, including vascular injury from penetrating trauma and ruptured aneurysm repair.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex vascular cases.
• Provide minimal clinic coverage for surgical referrals and postoperative visits as needed.
