Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an inpatient pediatric hospitalist to cover 24-hour call shifts. The role includes managing multiple admissions and patients per shift, with a focus on critical pediatric care and a wide range of procedures.

Travel and housing expenses are prepaid, and malpractice insurance is provided. The assignment details and time entry are handled through an online portal, with permanent support from Weatherby’s consultants.

Responsibilities

• Handle 24-hour call shifts for inpatient pediatric cases.
• Manage 2–5 patients per shift; 3–8 admissions per shift.
• Perform procedures including non-invasive ventilation, intubation, central/arterial line placement, conscious sedation, lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion, paracentesis, thoracentesis, circumcision, suturing.
• Interpret X-ray and EKG results.
