Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an inpatient pediatric hospitalist in Henderson, NC, for 24-hour call shifts. Expect 2–5 patients per shift and 3–8 admissions per shift in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires capabilities in non-invasive ventilation, intubation, central/arterial line placement, conscious sedation, lumbar puncture, chest tube, circumcision, suturing, and X-ray/ECG interpretation. Malpractice is paid; travel and housing are prepaid.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage on a 24-hour call schedule.
• Care for 2–5 patients per shift with 3–8 admissions per shift.
• Perform airway management and procedures as required (non-invasive ventilation, intubation, central/arterial line).
• Interpret X-ray and ECG results.
• Coordinate with Weatherby consultant for travel and housing arrangements.
