Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare locum tenens assigns physicians, PAs, and NPs to hospitals and clinics nationwide. This posting describes 24-hour nursery coverage with 7am–7am shifts and about one birth per day, with C-sections performed as requested by the OB team.

Qualifications include NRP, PALS, and BLS; hospital privileges; and no ICU duties. Travel and housing are prepaid; malpractice is covered. Weatherby provides 24/7 consultant support during assignments.

Qualifications

• NRP, PALS, and BLS certifications required.
• Hospital privileges required.
• Attendance at C-sections when requested by OB provider.
• No ICU/critical care duties -- no ER backup required.
• Codes responded to in nursery only.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour nursery coverage on a 7am–7am shift.
• Assist with C-sections when requested by OB providers and respond to nursery codes as needed.
