Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a skilled pathologist for locum tenens coverage in Arkansas. You will join a busy team with on-site pathologists and remote pathology support to handle surgical cases, biopsies, and frozen sections.

We handle credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage, so you can focus on patient care. Weekday schedule with optional remote weekend call and dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 30 surgical cases per day, shared with remote pathology team
• Cases supported by on-site pathologist
• Extensive biopsy case mix including GI, GYN, skin, breast, lung, and more
• Frozen sections required, averaging 1-2 per week
• Remote weekend call occasionally required (clinical and blood bank)
• We handle credentialing, housing, travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
