Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a locum tenens physician for a Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm schedule in Michigan. The role offers a mixed outpatient and inpatient clinical mix with admissions and rounding, providing a broad interventional radiology experience.

Procedures include embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placement and removal, plus emergency IR cases such as splenic, hepatic and pelvic embolization. No on-call obligations.

Responsibilities

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm with 8-hour shifts
• Mixed outpatient and inpatient care with admissions and rounding
• Embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placement/removal
• Emergency IR procedures—splenic, hepatic, and pelvic embolization
• Nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, and urgent abscess drainages
• Ability to read diagnostic cases between procedures
• No call required
