Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an Interventional Radiology professional for a Monday–Friday schedule in Michigan. The role involves mixed outpatient and inpatient care with admissions and rounding, plus embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter management.

Qualifications

• Experience in interventional radiology is required.
• Ability to read diagnostic imaging between procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mixed outpatient and inpatient care with admissions and rounding.
• Perform embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placement/removal.
• Handle emergency IR procedures including splenic, hepatic, and pelvic embolization.
• Manage nephrostomies, cholecystostomies and urgent abscess drainages.
• Read diagnostic cases between procedures when possible.
• No on-call requirements; coordinate with the team to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate housing, travel arrangements and malpractice coverage as part of the package.
• Streamline credentialing and privileging processes for efficiency.
• Use the online portal for assignment details and time entry; work with a dedicated recruiter.

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm -- 8-hour shifts
• Mixed outpatient and inpatient care with admissions and rounding
• Embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placement/removal
• Emergency IR procedures -- splenic, hepatic, and pelvic embolization
• Nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, and urgent abscess drainages required
• Ability to read diagnostic cases between procedures preferred
• No call required
