An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician for part-time coverage in a scenic city. We are seeking a Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide part-time coverage in Cumberland, MD. This position is based in a Level III Trauma Center and primarily involves outpatient clinic duties, with some inpatient consults.
This role requires one week of coverage, from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. During this time, the physician will see up to 18 patients per day in the clinic, which includes on-treatment patients, new consults, and long-term follow-ups. Additionally, the provider will handle 1-2 inpatient consults per day, with 2-3 inpatient visits per day as needed.
The current coverage need is from May 27 – 30, with ongoing opportunities for vacation coverage as needed. The majority of the physician's time will be spent in the clinic, with some inpatient responsibilities.
