We are seeking a Locum Urology Physician for a contract assignment in Topeka, Kansas.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Assignment Duration

13 Weeks (August 2, 2026 - November 1, 2026)

Hourly Rate: $325.00 - $388.00 per hour. Weekly compensation will be based on hours worked, experience, and assignment requirements.

Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage details available upon request. Dedicated credentialing support, malpractice coverage assistance, streamlined onboarding, weekly compensation, and ongoing recruiter support throughout the assignment.

Summary

HCEPInc is seeking a Urology Physician to support a well‑established urology program. This opportunity offers a blend of clinic and surgical responsibilities, working alongside a collaborative team in a busy practice setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both clinic and operating room environments and be comfortable managing a broad range of urologic conditions and procedures. Providers with robotic surgery experience and pelvic floor reconstruction experience are highly desired.

Essential Functions

• Provide comprehensive urology care in both outpatient clinic and surgical settings.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urologic conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures and provide perioperative management.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely within Epic EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with facility policies and standards.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Practice Setting

Clinic and Operating Room Responsibilities

Approximately 3 Clinic Days and 2 Operating Room Days Per Week

Clinic Located Near Hospital Campus

Qualifications

• Board Eligible in Urology required.
• Board Certified in Urology preferred.
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience practicing in both clinic and surgical settings required.
• Robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Experience with the da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred.
• Pelvic floor reconstruction experience highly desired.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient care skills required.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
