Job summary

77 consultants is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment, coordinating surgical intervention and patient management for adults. The role involves on-call coverage, collaboration with a clinical team, and a focus on excellent patient outcomes within the community.

The position requires an MD/DO with a valid license, completion of General Surgery training, and trauma-focused experience. Cerner EMR is used for documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with valid state license.
• Completion of a General Surgery residency with trauma focus.
• Board certification in Trauma Surgery preferred; Level I Trauma experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage trauma patients requiring surgical intervention.
• Perform surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress during recovery.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Stay current with trauma surgery techniques.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and standards.
