Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Fellowship-Trained in Orthopedic Trauma to join a dynamic, multi-specialty team near Houston, Texas.

You will provide acute trauma coverage across the ED, OR, and inpatient settings. You will maintain 30-minute response times, collaborate with trauma surgery, anesthesia, rehabilitation, and other specialties, and mentor mid-level providers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship completed or in progress.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Proficient in acute orthopedic trauma techniques including complex fracture management.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care in the ED, OR, and inpatient settings.
• Maintain 30-minute response coverage for trauma patients.
• Collaborate with trauma surgery, acute care, anesthesia, and rehabilitation teams.
• Participate in surgical decision-making, performance improvement, and quality initiatives.
• Mentor and supervise mid-level providers and trainees; contribute to protocol initiatives.
