Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) seeks a board-certified gastroenterologist for an inpatient practice in Fredericksburg, VA. The role emphasizes outpatient procedures and high-quality patient care with a focus on endoscopy and related interventions.

Responsibilities include rounding on assigned inpatients, performing upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, esophageal dilatation, and small-bowel biopsy, with admissions management and seamless shift coverage. No night or weekend call.

Qualifications

• Board-certified gastroenterologist with GI procedure experience.
• Active medical license and BLS certification.
• Experience with inpatient gastroenterology care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on inpatients, managing admissions and providing comprehensive care.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, dilatation, and biopsies.

Seeking a provider for an inpatient gastroenterology practice with a focus on outpatient procedures and patient care.
